Spent some more time capturing the moon this morning in #Pittsburgh, but this time I captured some more wide angle scenes instead of telephoto. It almost looks like Roberto Clemente is looking at a baseball in some of these as the moon set behind PNC Park.

What a moonrise in #Pittsburgh tonight. Though I have some views of the entire skyline, this closeup of PPG Place and the red moon is one of my favorites. You can even see Pittsburgher sign below it. Lots more to come from a couple spots around the city.

Too bad Stranger Things is coming to an end because scenes like this one would be a perfect fit to the show. The moon image that I wanted to capture in #Pittsburgh this morning didn't work out, but I found a few others that I liked even better, including this one.

Another view of the moon from yesterday morning in #Pittsburgh, this time with the moon perched above the Heinz stacks. I had hoped to capture it sitting right on top, however trees blocked that scene. Still, really like how this came out.

For some reason I have never noticed these hydrangeas on the North Shore of #Pittsburgh before this morning, and I thought that they made a nice little addition to the scene. Also an interesting mix of nature and cityscape from this perspective as well.

It was worth the 2:30 wakeup to head into #Pittsburgh to capture the moon setting behind the Duquesne Incline from the 31st St. Bridge. Last few times I tried to capture this view clouds rolled in at the last minute, but today it was clear. Even caught the Heinz stacks as well.

Switching it up from the #Pittsburgh cityscapes today and sharing a view of the Pennsylvanian downtown. This is a panorama that encompasses the entire rotunda, showcasing the incredible detail and architecture of the area.

A unique take on the Duquesne Incline in #Pittsburgh. Happened upon this puddle below the tracks and it made for the perfect opportunity for a reflection of the car as it descended Mt. Washington.

I don't get out to capture as many sunsets in #Pittsburgh as I used to, but I came across this one while making my anniversary calendar and it has me itching to head into the city. The way the bottom of the clouds lit up was just incredible in this view from Greenfield.

Cool scene on a foggy morning last week in #Pittsburgh. I was hoping that the owner of this spiderweb might come back, but even without it, it was still a really fun image to capture. You can see all the little bugs already caught in the web.

Another film scan from last month, this time of the moon rising over #Pittsburgh from McKees Rocks. I've really been trying to work on taking better images at night on film, and I think I may finally be getting the hang of it. Shot on an F3 and Portra 800.

A few more film images for today from a colorful sunrise a few weeks ago in #Pittsburgh. It's been a while since we've had a really incredible sky at dawn, so mornings like this will have to do. Shot on a Canon OWL point and shoot and Kodak Gold 400.

Got some film scans back from July 4th in #Pittsburgh, and it was my first time not messing up fireworks on film. I was surprised by how well the Portra 800 performed (was my first time shooting Portra in 800) but these all came out really cool.

Another foggy #Pittsburgh view from a few days ago, this time from above Troy Hill. Usually if the city is covered in fog then so is this spot, but I lucked out, seeing as I was here around 3:30 in the morning. Made for a pretty cool scene.

Really excited to announce that my 2026 #Pittsburgh calendars are now available. This year I'm extra pumped as I have a special anniversary one, featuring images from the last 13 years since I published my first calendar in 2013.

Foggy start to the day in #Pittsburgh this morning, and while it wasn't that cool lay on the river type of fog, it still made for some interesting scenes. This is one from the West End bridge, complete with a boat reflecting in the Ohio River.
