I agree with Mr Shapps about the dangers of (any) party getting a super majority. The reality is that 65 seat can do that. One solution is to implement Proportional Representation. Mr Shapps are you suggesting that? I hope you are 🤔.

Sad to read of Peter Abraham's final departure. I worked with him on a couple of committees back in 2018-19. He argued his points well, with a lot of experience of course, and crucially he listened. Bye Peter.

Sad to hear this. I worked with Peter on a couple of things at the Council, he was always helpful and patient. Goodbye .

Another group of "little people" also miss out because we have a first-past-the-post voting system, "what's the point of voting here they say" and they re right.

Housing is so fundamental to anyone's well-being it should take precedence over almost all else. Good idea.

Fairness is not just about distribution. Fairness of process of reaching that distribution is also important. In fact, I read, that often if people think the process is fair then they assume the results is fair. That's a common view from "fast, intuitive thinking".

I would assume fairness is to do with redistribution. Who decides how a city is run?. Is fairness just a greater nuanced conversation about redistribution? @SageAndOnion.
