Men represent 49% of the world's population. So why are trans women (at approx 0.25% of the population) now being portrayed as the biggest risk to women in the UK? The biggest risk to women is domestic violence and rape. Not a trans woman going for a pee in a public facility.

Labour has allowed a discriminatory narrative to set future policy. This shows weakness in the face of bigotry.

Never has done.
Fear of the unknown is a significant driver in human emotion. As trans people, with our allies, we need to educate those who don't understand us, to alleviate their fears. Solidarity to all women.

I'd have been 2 or 3 when I realised I was different. My gender dysphoria has been with me all this time (I'm in my 50's. It would have been such a positive to have my experience affirmed from a young age. Alas I grew up thinking I was alone in the world with no support.
