citizens. In fact most people you talk to remember the help Ethiopia provided to refugees during Somalia’s bombarded of 1988-89. To many, Somalia is considered cadow number one.
Ethiopia underpinned Somaliland's stability and peace for 30 years, provided a security umbrella that kept it secure.
Somaliland's success is to have come to terms with Ethiopia and learn to live with it.

please support Somaliland on setting the legal, regulatory and governance framework for managing oil revenue. Oversight and governance is key for reaping the long term benefit. Without this there may be resentment directed at TW.

Agree however lots more work need to be done. Especially in the area of AML/CTF starting with Registrars. The whole company incorporation process should be assessed to identify beneficial owners. Public registers. Transparency. “Businesses” are the key risks, not invidiuals.

For me that’s true geographically. I can literally see the border of Ethiopia from my family’s land in Somaliland. Funny how all the QT have a different interpretation. Feelings first. Logic second.

This is evident from the Somalia Amb to UN who raised the issue at the UN. First crucial step to highlight there’s an Authority other than the Fed Gov there. Any other country would claim it��s a “internal” issue not draw attention to third party de facto state within its borders.
