Matt Dorsey: Worked in District Attorney Office in 1990s addressing hate crimes, civilian member of Police Staff. Loves the ability to bring out his inner nerd working on electrification of Caltrain as a Supervisor.

Cooper: Look at whole person. Some people don't want recovery, some are going to die. We need safe consumption programs. Will be on streets after 5 PM and sit and talk to the homeless.

Dorsey: Need to get people dealing with addiction into drug abuse programs. This will save lives. Identify inefficient programs and make them work better.

Jackson: Likes community ambassador program, where people actively do work. Need investment in transitional work programs to enable people to be competitive to get high-paying jobs so that people can provide for their family.

Mahogany: Urban Alchemy has been very effective. If we just push the problem out of D6, we'll just push it to other parts of the city. Need to increase police accountability.
