We are deeply disappointed in the Prop K result & Supervisor @JoelEngardio’s approach to remove a lifeline for the west side that’ll fundamentally change the chance of large working families in his district. Prop K hurts Asian Americans who supported him. Where to go from here?
Proposition K asked voters if San Francisco should transition a section of the Great Highway into an oceanside park. Ballots counted so far say yes. Voters citywide support closing the roadway’s middle section full time — beyond the already popular weekend closures that attract.
