Prop K is a wrong policy. The fight against it should never be over. The Great Highway is a historic road and a part of a regional highway. Closing this road is like turning off an artery in our body of the transportation system - it’ll deactivate a part of the region.
The Great Highway fight isn't over: a new lawsuit argues that the city ignored the state's authority and unlawfully placed the measure before San Francisco voters. 📝: @lihanlihan

First, @SFMTA_Muni should build automated barrier gates to protect the riders on the platforms. Second, the future of public transit will not be in mass mode. It can’t guarantee the basic personal safety of passengers.
“In Feb. 2018, my mother, Jennifer Chang, experienced firsthand how dangerous riding MUNI could be. She almost lost her life at the Castro and Market station when a man suddenly and violently pushed her toward the tracks in front of an approaching train.”

This is why the future of transit is not staying in mass mode. Mass transit is unsafe & unprotected for captive riders. Let’s go small w multilevel subways running individualized door-to-door autonomous 4-6 seat shuttles by @boringcompany underground, like the Las Vegas Loop.
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING NEWS.Per @SFBART radio,.A shooting at Antioch BART Station.The Station is Closed.

This is why mass transit doesn’t work. One experience traumatized the hundreds of captive riders. Go small. Public transit should be individualized, door-to-door, with privacy and personal safety. #FutureofTransitisNotMass.
Sheboon gets mad everyone was bumping into her because people bumping into you in a crowded subway isn't supposed to happen. Looks like an Asian lady tried to calm her down. big mistake

Can San Francisco ever hold this vision? At $4.20 flat fee in a city 5x bigger, @Tesla_AI is comparable to MUNI fare and less than BART. It is run without subsidies, bonds or taxation. Innovation for transit, @sfgov @SFMayorsOffice @SFMTA_Muni @sfcta @SFBART?.
The @Tesla_AI robotaxi launch begins in Austin this afternoon with customers paying a $4.20 flat fee!.

“When the data and the anecdote disagree, the anecdote is always right, bc there is something wrong w data collection… Must always seek truth” - By Jeff Bezo. Hello @SFMTA_Muni @sfchronicle on closure of @openthegreathwy, when thousands disagree with your “3 extra minutes”.
Jeff Bezos recounts the time he called Amazon’s customer service number mid-meeting to prove a metric was wrong. In the clip below, Jeff tells a story from the early days of Amazon when their metrics said customers waited less than 60 seconds after calling customer service. Yet

If there is another transit bond comes up for @SFBART, how would you vote?.
“Between 2019 and 2024, BART’s boardings fell 57 percent yet staffing grew and annual payments to employees rose an astounding 32 percent”. Bay Area transit systems want more money. But their payrolls soared as ridership declined

The future of transit isn't mass transit, @sfcta. It's rigid, costly, & slow, failing to meet neighborhood and regional needs. The last mile burdens @SFMTA_Muni and frustrates riders. Transfers push people to cars, rideshares, or robotaxis. Think small, flexible solutions. @USDOT.
Why @sfcta initiates an intra-Sunset shuttle? B/lc it tries to cut L-Taraval at WestPortal! After 8 yrs & $1B on the light rail, you’ve got to be kidding me. Don’t blame @D4GordonMar. Traitor @JoelEngardio doesn’t give a sh1t. RSVP:

Maybe it’s time for HSR to change business model? Instead of embarking on expensive above ground projects, explore underground tunnels which save on land acquisition & eminent domain. Initially it may cost more to set up @boringcompany, in a long run it’s less expensive & speedy.

Charging homeowners for their driveway access?! Why do @SFMTA_Muni @sfcta @mikechensf keep listening to the same person's reckless ideas that harm commuters, erode the tax base, and weaken support for future bonds? #SFPolitics #Muni

S.F. budget officials studied, then quietly scrapped, a novel idea to convert private car infrastructure into a funding spigot for public transit.

This is why the future of public transit shouldn’t be for masses. Mass transit can’t ensure public safety as the basic minimum requirement. The future of transit should be smaller with more safety and privacy protections. @CAgovernor @DOGE @DOGE_DOT @SecDuffy @USDOT @USDOTRapid.
Innocent Asian American Grandma forced to sit next to me on BART Train because of violent drugged put lunatic. I will defend her.
