This one-page flyer lists all the e-cigarettes authorized to be sold in the US. Is it user-friendly? Certainly. Is it indicative of a review process that prioritizes public health? Certainly not.
Trump's FDA sent a warning letter (well, close to a warning letter) about Vuse One earlier this month.

Good piece on vaping here. Overwhelmingly done by current and former smokers, so far there is basically no reason to think it is a gateway to cigarettes. And âpopcorn lungâ is just a lie. https://t.co/dmwE2laiN9

Yes, the John Candy documentary is that good, and I like liking good things. So will you. h/t @SonnyBunch
The new John Candy documentary is great if youâre into feeling good about good people. Me, I like liking things.

The Trump administration attacking boats n the Caribbean is a costly distraction meant to project toughness while masking its role in worsening the crisis at home.

âWhile there is certainly a place for exposing corporate lobbying that is harming the public's health, making false accusations weakens our credibility. And issuing such attacks against private individuals chills much needed civil discourse among public health practitioners.â

Excellent Substack post by @cjsnowdon: "Australia's imaginary moral victory When your policies blow up in your face, you can always resort to modelling" https://t.co/efLgLYt6tS "The Kiwis have a lower smoking rate while all the Australians have is a tobacco turf war."

I wonder this too for public health policy. Behavioral health is not well suited to one-size-fits-all policies. Worse, policies are too-often based on flawed science: tobacco policy that disincentivizes harm reduction & backwards nutritional guidelines. https://t.co/41czf2GL09

This is the same lady who thought the moon was gone btw
Theyâve been spraying our skies all day and no one seems to be asking why. How did we get to a point where itâs considered acceptable to release toxic chemicals into the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil that feeds us? I feel like weâre insects, and theyâre

âI can state unequivocally that I am neither part of the tobacco industry nor am I a tobacco industry ally. Yet I believe, as a scientist with 40 years of experience in studying smoking, that cigarette smoking is more dangerousâ @mbsiegel
Anyone interested in the roiling debate on nicotine policy really ought to read this piece by @mbsiegel. It is devastating and cuts to the heart of the entire issue. 1/đȘĄ https://t.co/ZEDS9rYhJE

@LNKhealth That's strange. I stopped smoking 11 years ago by switching to vaping. I did it with nicotine eliquid in flavours like Apple and Bavarian Cream. This eliquid was made by a small local manufacturer --not the tobacco industry. I'm 77 and much healthier than I was 11 years ago.

"Health inspectors found and seized 3860 illicit cigarettes and 224 illegal vapes..." Not that seizure volumes have a meaningful impact on the black market, but this is a poor result by any measure. Safe to say Kaz Hamad will not be quaking in his boots...
Two stores have become the first to be shut down in a massive new crackdown on a illicit trade costing the taxman $6.7 billion a year. Full story: https://t.co/KkQxXqofny

The latest update of the @CochraneTAG living review reiterates the high certainty evidence that vaping is more effective at helping smokers quit than traditional NRT. We urge policymakers not to wreck that with worrying proposals discussed for the Tobacco and Vapes Bill.
Out now! #Cochrane living review of #ecig to #QuitSMOKING 104 studies & 30,000+ people. High certainty evidence nicotine #vapes help more to quit at 6 mths+ than NRT. Moderate certainty more quit with EC than nonânicotine EC @CRUK_Policy funded @Oxford_TAG
