Thrilled to share new work led by @JieYang437 in the lab published today in @Nature. We find that Aspirin prevents metastasis by releasing T cells from immune suppression by platelet TXA2. @Cambridge_Uni @CRUKCamCentre https://t.co/dO2v0GWKAn

Wonderful to see Shimon Sakaguchi, Mary E. Brunkow & Fred Ramsdell honoured with the Nobel Prize. From Sakaguchi’s discovery of Treg cells to the identification of Foxp3, their research opened a new chapter in immunology, viewed from the perspective of dominant tolerance.

Our total energy (electricity) bill for heating and the all other used was £1700 last year! We have described our experience with it here: https://t.co/IG6ueaGIUa Put in a heatpump this summer! You’ll not look back!

Cool to see so many #heatpumps being installed this year. We’ve had our heatpump at home now for 3 years and it’s been saving us money while providing more comfortable heating and reducing our estimated CO2e by 75-80%.
