Once you realize that Christian history existed between 500 a.d. - 1968 a.d. then 99 percent of cringe liberal/leftist/atheist/pagan takes about Christianity fall to dust.

I spoke on peacemaking in church a couple weeks ago, & it's basically impossible to find 2025 civility norms modeled anywhere in scripture In order to defend them as "Christian" you have to argue that we just figured out how to be Christian ten minutes ago

My experience is that when you intentionally start an inquiry with the intention to "challenge" and not "understand" you've already ceased to become an "academic". You've become an activist. The content of this tweet fully attests to this, the only question is of self awareness.

Looking back at the Fox news interview, I realized I really screwed up on one question. Will Cain asked me what I saw on the ground, it was a hard question to answer because I was flooded with so many tragic memories I didn't know how to sum it up. Looking back on it, the answer

I didn't realise that the intellectual value of academia was to challenge traditional norms. If I were to place this under a critical inquiry, I'd suggest that you've conflated the "values" of academia with the reality that is academia.

@EmmaJanePettit @TheFIREorg @AEI @chronicle @asymmetricinfo Fascism generally doesn’t do great under peer review, but perhaps it’s the intellectual values of academia, which emphasizes critical inquiry & challenges traditional norms, that may be inherently less appealing to those with a more conservative worldview.
