Most of the refs at grassroots level are minors themselves. They’re someone’s son or daughter who generally play the game themselves. Think posts like this criticising these youngsters are well out of order and do nothing to help them.

Just comparing this season to 21/22 under Lage. Most likely finish lower in table with fewer points, yet GON has far more love from fans than BL ever did. Is it a personality thing or playing better football/scoring more now. Interesting to hear your thoughts.

Forest fans not happy with Nuno😂. I always thought of him as a lucky manager at Wolves. Tactically not very good just dropped in with a great set of players, the Mendes effect, and was extremely lucky with injuries. Never the less they were happy times.

They could bring inflation down to zero but the damage is done. I’ve not noticed food prices or fuel prices coming back down to what they were pre Covid/Ukraine etc. and I doubt very much whether folks income has risen enough to compensate.

Our first house in 1981 was £13.5k, ave wage £6.5k pa. Same house today £200k, ave wage £32k. Yes we had it tough with 15% interest but we were nowhere near as leveraged as buyers are today.

I suggest you read your clubs charter standard Karl. In particular respect for natch officials and their decisions from players, parents and coaches. Vast majority of children you coach aren’t gonna be pros and neither are the refs. Enjoyment for all first and foremost.

Surprises me some of the differences of opinion on players. Personally think Sarabia is quality and always looking to unpick opposition defence. Others seem to think he’s crap 😂

Thought GO got schooled yesterday. They allowed us more possession, drew us out and we paid the price heavily. Playing players out of position didn’t help either.

This ULEZ thing is just a political football isn’t it. Most petrol cars after 2006 comply, you can get £2k scrappage on your old motor and a quick search on autotrader shows me 1173 cars between £2k and £2.5k within 30 mile from me.
