Any Brit that still says we should not now unequivocally apply to rejoin the EU is either in continued denial; a cultist; nuts; a fascist; stubborn; a thick c u n t; a Man Utd fan; hates Germans; loves having less choice & fewer rights for more cost; or is away with the fairies

UK inflation is 3.6%. Eurozone inflation is 2.0% The Bank of England interest rate is 4.25%. The ECB rate is 2.0% Brexit is costing the government around ยฃ50bn a year. We are paying a massive cost for not being in the EU and the Eurozone - higher inflation, interest rates,

I used to oppose 16 years having the vote but talking to my 17 year old daughters particularly their desire for UK to Rejoin the EU has convinced me it's a good thing. A future EU Rejoin Referendum will benefit from the youth vote for sure.

I for one would rather trust 16-18 year-olds to vote for their future, than many of my own generation who stupidly voted to go back to some fantasy vision of their own past - robbing the former of a lot of the rights and opportunities they themselves had in the process

Regulatory & customs borders between diff regulated & customs territories are the highest of barriers to trade, prosperity & growth. FACT. UK chose to resurrect both against the EU27 without removing either against any other country. FACT. Even if had, Trade Gravity applies. FACT

Man of the people? The millionaire, right-wing, private schooled, city banker, who claims an EU parliament pension and pays his taxes in Belgium? You've been had by this grifter. Wake up and smell the Rubles!

@LizWebsterSBF @Vince_Clorotho @KemiBadenoch @LBC @tradeandtillage @MrDavidCatt1 I hope you can persuade him & others to value the return of reciprocal freedom of movement (the 4 freedoms) by rejoining the EEA, or Swiss like, reciprocating FoM, within the TCA (it'd allow this) .. (& agreeing a customs union) If not rejoining the EU.

Time to mention once again, the Netherlands has an upper chamber too but you donโ€™t get there by birth, being a prelate nor a crony of the PM. Nor is it absurdly bloated. It is INDIRECTLY ELECTED - ie elected regional authorities nominate its members. Far too sensible for the UK.

To insult two highly respected and free thinking politicians like this is disgraceful. It just shows how far standards in society have fallen. Anyone reposting this insulting photograph should feel utterly ashamed. ๐Ÿ˜ก

It's a simple question Reform voters & political hosts never ask Farage & co. Why would *any* Gov. (wanting to remain popular & in power) not turn on & exploit the "opportunities" & "freedoms" of Brexit if they existed to benefit Joe Public? This applies to you too @KemiBadenoch

@BestForBritain Brexit choices were always 1/ Extra high import prices for far less choice OR 2/ Unilaterally favouring the EU (their exporters) & smugglers nirvana OR 3/ Dropping standards for all (GB imports) to offset the extra costs of the Brexit borders & fucked GB exports in all scenarios

UK spends 5.2% of GDP on pensions France spends 13.5% Italy spends 16.3% The UK state pension is equivalent to 48% of the national living wage (40 hour week) Shouldn't we be looking after our pensioners better?

@RobinPirates This applies to the whole bloody establishment . It is frustrating to likes of you and me (in trade) that so much of the UK public is unawares because they are not anywhere near informed enough.

As I have been campaigning for since 2010, irrespective of political party, no MP should have a second job outside that one they are elected and paid for with our taxes - save a narrowly defined list of exceptions To help restore trust in politics, @UKLabour @Keir_Starmer need

So, brexit carries no economic benefits, no political benefits, and we're now so poor certain elements are considering selling the country to the Yanks? You Gammon really got played.
