When I was a child I didn’t get the MMR
I did get measles-induced encephalitis. Unable to walk, talk and didn’t know anyone around me.
I was in hospital for 3 weeks unable to move until one night I got up in bed and woke up my mam - fully recovered. I was lucky.

I got measles induced encephalitis when I was younger. Couldn’t talk or walk for weeks. Doctors thought I’d remain that way forever. Thankfully I came out of it. Moral of the story - vaccinate your kids
