Chris, thanks for your work on this. One minor critique... I think this would gain more traction if the conclusion statement omitted some of the political references. This issue really isn't partisan. PE is destroying every field of medicine it touches.

Hard to argue with this.
Every professional organization in medicine should denounce the involvement of private equity in healthcare. They should send a clear message to their young physician members that PE is bad for hospitals, private practices, and patients. They won’t do it, but they should.

Surprised the author didn't elaborate. Farm prices in US declined because the S-H tariffs caused other countries to raise their own tariffs in retaliation. Top US export (agriculture) couldn't sell abroad so farmers in US had to slash prices to sell their glut of products.
