Being an academic is about being critical and analytical as Stuart Hall said, 'The university is a critical institution or it is nothing'.

Is it possible that women academics don't need leadership workshops but rather just decent working conditions? Time to think and to read and to write without all the workplace sexism. Why don't they ever send the sexist men on how to stop behaving like a wanker workshops

On way into a pub yesterday, I was required to show my vaccine certificate on my phone BUT also prove it was mine. Didn’t have my wallet, so wife kindly sent me a photo of my driving licence. 7 white colleagues didn’t have to prove COVID cert was theirs #everdayracism #race
