@KarolinaLendak @MVanholsbeeck #Knowledge produced by CEE female academics—often in local languages—remains isolated. This sustains an imbalance in international scholarship that #privileges English-language publications in elite journals. The authors call for an inclusive, #multilingual research policy (4/4).

@KarolinaLendak @MVanholsbeeck The study found ECR women in CEE face #systemic barriers—language, funding, exclusion—to publishing internationally, yet they are also gendered. Despite #aspirations for global recognition, many stay in local academic circles, deepening economic & geopolitical dependencies (3/4).

@WWU Sexist bias peaked at #pregnancy disclosure—even without discrimination. #Allyship helped reduce backlash: policies lowered backlash but hurt allies’ image; calling out #bias boosted allies but raised backlash; highlighting strengths helped #allies most. Hybrid worked best (3/4).

@HsiehWing @nickjfaulkner The study concludes that D&I #interventions are often applied under a single banner in practice, despite research showing they vary widely in impact. The meta-review helps firms set more realistic, #targeted expectations for what each specific D&I intervention can achieve (4/4).

@HsiehWing @nickjfaulkner The meta-review shows diversity #training boosts learning but rarely drives lasting change. Practical steps like job #training & workplace accommodations improve outcomes especially for #age & #disability inclusion. #Recruitment, leave & pay policies show mixed D&I results (3/4).

Women’s perceptions of #tokenism shape how they view and feel #attracted to organizations—even before joining. Exposure to male-majority job ads boosts token effect beliefs, lowering organizational #appeal. Tokenism beliefs are therefore key in evaluating job opportunities (3/4).
