My own personal take on @LauraDelano story is that it is, in some ways, a story of misdiagnosis and over-medication but, crucially, it is not *just* a story of misdiagnosis and over-treatment. It has important things to say to us about making sense of suffering & iatrogenic harm.

In NYC, the jail system did something similar so that we could screen every admission + treat them for Hepatitis C. This is what states should be doing w GLP-1’s, which are life saving, life changing meds we can’t afford to withhold because of cost.
Curing hep C brings major benefits to both patients and society by preventing further transmission. Breakthrough drugs did exactly this, but high costs meant low uptake. We @Arnold_Ventures partnered with Louisiana to design a subscription model to scale access without breaking

Yep. He’s not gonna lose twice, so he’s not gonna run. He just won’t be forced out and will insist on trying to make it seem like he walked away on his own terms.
Why I think it's unlikely he runs:.1- He's terrified of losing.2- His primary campaign shows he doesn't have gas in the tank.3- He's bad at making decisions. Even when he ends up making the right one, he usually flirts with every wrong one along the way, which he's doing here.
