"Since the state brought on @PartnerwithPPL to run CDPAP, it’s been nothing but chaos. Their technology fails. Their phones go unanswered. And now, caregivers across the state aren’t even being paid for their work." #ProtectHomeCare https://t.co/ED6Zo3eFHF

We've been warning this would happen. It's been 21 sleepless nights since PPL took over, and our PAs still aren't being paid correctly. Frustration is growing—and now thousands of consumers could go without care. @NYHealthCommish @GovKathyHochul @PartnerwithPPL don't seem to care

New: I talked with CDPAP consumers, workers and facilitators who paint a grim picture of the registration process with PPL. At 11 am program participants will be tuning in for a court hearing where they hope a federal judge will implement a delay:

As predicted...PPL systems don't work for the many New Yorkers have done EVERYTHING they can to get in. The state really made a mess of CDPAP. While it may take some time for FIs to get up & running again, thank GOODNESS for the TRO.

🚨BREAKING: PPL’s “headquarters” are a farce. Home care users are at the company’s supposed NY HQ - but the “office” is just an empty space under construction. In only 2 weeks, PPL is set to take over home care for 100s of thousands of NYers. This is a disaster in the making.
