Even before the new administration takes office, the Trump courts are blocking the worker wins of the Biden era. The states need to act quickly to preserve protections for #overtime pay, organizing rights, #HeatProtections & bans on non-competes. https://t.co/Lt1A43jHGF

State policymakers who want to preserve protections for US workers should move quickly to enact recent federal worker wins at the state level.

Plant nursery workers experience injuries and accidents every year from lifting heavy plants, potting and pruning, and working long hours in the heat without breaks. This weekend, we hosted an ergonomics training with 40+ nursery workers to keep us safe. #PlantingJustice

🗞️ICYMI: 1 week ago #MOworkers and community allies won paid sick days, $15/hour, and an end to Missouri's extreme abortion ban. This is a testament to the power of people coming together across race and place to fight for a say-so in the conditions of our jobs and our lives!

@betterjobsforak @mohealthyfam #Arizona voters rejected a bad policy that would've slashed tipped #workers' cash wage. By voting against #Prop138, voters defeated the restaurant industry's attempt to expand the use of workers' hard-earned tips to subsidize their payroll costs.

@betterjobsforak #Missouri voters passed a ballot measure to raise the state’s #MinimumWage to $15 and give #workers #PaidSickDays by 2026. This increase will benefit more than 560,000 workers, of whom 61% are women and 29% are workers of color. Kudos to the @mohealthyfam campaign!

The state’s #MinimumWage will gradually increase to $15 by 2027, improving the lives of more than 30,000 #workers and the 23,000 children who live with someone making minimum wage. Congrats to the @betterjobsforak campaign!
