🚨Trump’s Big Ugly Bill just narrowly passed the Senate  and it puts 1.5 million New Yorkers at risk of losing Medicaid. The fight isn’t over. The House can still stop it. 📞Call the 7 NY Republicans in Congress NOW and demand they vote NO. #ProtectMedicaid.

A Korean War veteran, the 1st African American to chair the House Ways & Means Committee and a founding member of the Congressional Black Caucus, his legacy shaped a better future for generations. Rest in power, Congressman. Your fight and love for Harlem will never be forgotten.

We join the faithful in New York and worldwide in mourning Pope Francis, a wise, humble, and compassionate leader. He championed justice, defended migrants and the environment, and tirelessly advocated peace. May we honor his call to be “artisans of peace.".
