This is from 2016. So Catherine Connolly’s work in helping banks repossess homes has been an open secret for at least 9 years. Back then, she waved away the criticism as a ‘poisonous campaign’; today it’s ‘smears’.

Connolly actually equated NATO doing what it's meant to do with Russia's invasion of Ukraine. I am not making this up. Just read what she said...

On the eve of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, @catherinegalway accused NATO of warmongering and suggested the threat was "without any reality". Her consistent position has been for Ukraine to surrender land to Russia, while receiving no future security guarantee. Read the speech

This is the normalisation of extremism. I understand that the public wants to give the government a bloody nose. I sympathise with that. But Catherine Connolly has a record which raises doubts about her suitability to be president. She has done nothing to allay those doubts.

I agree at this stage that a spoiled vote is aiding Connolly. She will be a horrible, Divisive President. No fan of HH Either but we have to keep jobs in Ireland.

There won't be a Sean Gallagher-style meltdown because this time the people who fraudulently wrecked Sean Gallagher's campaign in 2011 are winning.

Electing the right person is important & it's equally important to use your vote in the upcoming #Aras25. Ireland is pro - European Union & opposes terrorism along with ruthless authoritarian leaders. I know who I won't be voting for under any circumstances.
