Labour is open to doing business with the Greens and the SocDems, but when it comes to Sinn Féin, there are difficulties.

On a day where the European Parliament voted to support safe and legal abortion, the majority of FF and FG voted AGAINST even having a debate on our laws here. The O’ Shea review is over 2 years old and still no update or progress on making sure our laws work for women.

I guess this is what it felt like in the 80s when voting on women’s rights 🤷🏻‍♂️ Didn’t think I could be shocked in the Dáil, but I was tonight when so many Govt TDs voted to shut down any debate on progressing women’s rights. We @labour won’t let this stop us 🌹

Cautiously welcome the announcement from Minister for Health on the HIQUA review. The Minister said that she will ‘discuss how best to progress option c’ this does not offer clarity as to if and when a new hospital with a second ED will be delivered.
