Historian in me knows the Trump national security strategy document will go down as one of the great betrayals of the free world and all those responsible for it remembered in shameful ignominy.

Did you know that russia banned the public performance of Jean Sibelius's composition Finlandia in russian-occupied Finland because it was seen as nationalist and "anti-russian protest" against russian oppression? IMO, Finlandia represents Finland in the best possible ways.

The 1996 film Michael Collins played fast and loose with historical facts, but one thing no one disputes is the extraordinary achievement of its production design and the Dublin secrets unearthed during its making. For the shoot, an enormous set was constructed in Grangegorman

The lack of a formal briefing/press conference on recent drone events in the Irish Sea is unacceptable. The silence from the Opposition benches is even more bewildering 🤷🏼‍♂️ “That would be an ecumenical matter” is simply not good enough. @NiallJournal_ie @rtenews @defenceforces

At no point during the five-year span that Monty Python's Flying Circus aired on the BBC, from October 1969 to December 1974, could the greatest comedic minds of their time come up with a skit more grotesquely absurd than Trump placing a fake peace-prize medal over his own head.
