The bureaucracy in authoritarian countries are terrified of delivering bad news to the public.
Capt. Ranganathan criticizes the preliminary report for being vague & misleading. The report unfairly shifts blame to pilots without clear evidence, while ignoring other serious issues like airport safety failures, pilot flight hour records & the real cause of fuel shutoff.

Amen! Judges need to he accountable for the many policy decisions they take in the course of judicial administration especially the decisions involving expenditure of taxpayer money.

What else do you expect when we spent the last three decades overhyping Election Commissioners like Seshan - pitching them as the heros against the 'corrupt politican'. They are going to behave like they are the boss.
