"I'm living in continuing anxiety and fear all the time. I feel trapped, not important and dreading winter time. That's when all the mould and damp comes back. I don't know how I'm going to cope." The reality of living on a district #HeatNetwork. https://t.co/XLZhaXmLuz

These poor people need to be taken off the PDHU immediately. How can the Council think a 10+ year #HeatNetwork replacement project is the correct solution to this desperate situation?

Unfortunately if you live under a badly council managed #HeatNetwork we are trapped in a monopoly. Government target of 20% roll out of these systems #CaveatEmptor

Isn't the whole point of a #HeatNetwork to provide cheaper heating and hot water? https://t.co/cBpKEIeUoi

@katesineed @DemolitionsLdn @Fight4Heat_LBL Yep. Communal/ district heating - another leasehold racket and another area of no consumer protection. The next cladding scandal - once all networks will by law require upgrade to certain standards. It will only get worse.

Still considerably cheaper to scrap these old networks, like the PDHU, and give residents their own electric boilers. We’re facing bills of up to £66,000 per flat for our new heat network. Your grants won’t touch the sides!
Many heat networks were installed in the 1960s and 70s and are outdated which can lead to poor performance, unreliable service, and higher bills. HNES is working to change this by helping upgrade existing systems. Find out how to access HNES funding: https://t.co/GbJeFpspEX

“You must adjust to change,” says Westminster Council. Is this their idea of a consultation? Pimlico deserves a future shaped by residents, not imposed on us. #PimlicoUnites

Looking forward to hearing how @CityWestminster justify removing individual heating and hot water systems from the list of options at the PDHU working group meeting this evening 🤔

We are very disappointed to see that the Council's updated options ranking sees the resident preferred option (individual boilers) demoted right down to the bottom of the list. Why aren't they listening? https://t.co/aS8DDZ5fBU
