Itโ€™s a big change and we need to do better in diagnosing asthma. Spirometry not available does not mean my doctor canโ€™t be bothered ordering it.

Such an important study. In people with acute asthma and COPD with eosinophilia regimes containing benralizumab were superior to prednisone alone in reference treatment failure at 90 days

This is a common question from patients and carers of people with bronchiectasis. Why have so few people ever heard of such a common condition, even health professionals? Its getting better, but bronchiectasis is still an orphan condition in many places. Patients deserve better!

Beyond caloric restriction, a randomized trial of either a healthy low carbohydrate diet (HLCD) or time-restricted eating (10-hour) Both led to marked changes in gut microbiome and weight reduction, but HLCD more effective in reducing fat mass https://t.co/tY8XIzN4sW

As a West Australian I am ashamed of my state governmentโ€™s wilful neglect of our urgent need to curtail greenhouse gas pollution.

The state Labor government is steering Australiaโ€™s climate policy, letting emissions soar unbridled as it paves the way for massive fossil fuel projects

Zehra #Turkey wants treatment. Not too much to ask is it @VertexPharma? Patients in Turkey only get access to #Trikafta if they sue the government to pay the extortionate list price. Instead of offering a reasonable price for ALL patients, Vertex sit back & let them die. ๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ก

As we head into winter, hospital admissions in England with Covid are increasing sharply (again), plus flu and RSV starting their annual rise. The year round nature of Covid could not be more obvious! There's also a lot of Rhinovirus (causes common cold) around.
