Teaching some vs teaching all. This is where the action for improvement lies. > In most schools I visit, nailing this agenda could be THE agenda - nothing more needed. In fact anything more is a distraction from this.

Excellent post! Retrieval, interspersing, deep learning etc! Many thanks to @Whitworthtin4 from @PaddyShevlin and as always to @KateJones_teach . My various clusters to note please.
From what I’ve seen in schools Retrieval Practice has become a bit of a lethal mutation @KateJones_teach (Kate Jones wrote an excellent piece on lethal mutations) you don’t get deep learning without thinking.

Formative Action: A brilliant, refreshing take on formative assessment and responsive teaching. This idea from the @toetsrevolutie team is superb and well worth exploring if you haven't done before.
