Just reviewing our Y1 and Y2 units on place value, addition and subtraction structures, and column addition and subtraction. With COMPARISON it is worth emphasising, that whether it is MORE or FEWER, the quantity more or fewer is the extra bit sticking out on the longer one.

1/n Thought we had done our last Jinja Educational Trust (JET) trip, but they persuaded me and Karen to go again. We have spent the week travelling into JET schools, some 'off road' a long way from Jinja. Lots to share: children are stunning - so calm, focussed and well-behaved.

Is @Microsoft struggling financially? They appear to be putting their resources into developing Copilot, leaving older software in a buggy state. To all intents and purposes customer support is non-existent for these bugged relics. I don't understand why schools still use MS.
