My favourite genre of NHS awkward social interaction as a referrals reg is when you are sat next to someone from another specialty loudly complaining about you or your specialty, unaware you are right there. Do I have the dignity to save them from embarrassment? No I do not.

The thing I’m most looking forward to CCT for: no more resident nights. How do people do specialities where they continue to have to be physically in the hospital at night? Too old for this 😂.

Reviewing an article for a high impact journal that will not be named, which is for. 30 page manuscript with 8 complex multi part figures, and 145 pages (???!!!!) of supplementary data, that have been asked to turn around in 7 days. What do they think people do with their days?.
