This glorious Beryl Cook painting was on the wall by my husband’s bed during his last 3 months of life. It greatly amused visiting doctors and he smiled at it too. Have to make home like home & not hospital. It’s such a lovely observation of people.

Precious things. Keep in a box or display case. A year after his death I had my husband’s wedding ring made smaller to fit a finger on my right hand. His name and dates are engraved on the inside. It feel better than it being in a drawer.
