A wee insight into the internal war going on inside the bbc. Did you know different people write the intro and the script to the piece? You shouldn’t normally be able to tell.
The primary reason this is wrong, @BBCNews, is that disqualifying someone from a competition because they are *trans* is unethical and illegal. Whereas disqualifying them because they are *male* is fair and legal. It's not to do with kindness. It's to do with *sense*.
