Where we started with this year's #VitalSigns research is not where the data led us. With the city’s population growth on everyone's minds, we explored further. But an overlooked area of growth emerged that we believe matters the most. Read the report: https://t.co/JrBd8MPPdb

This is a table of hope. It is a gift to spend time with young professionals giving so much of themselves to their communities. I am grateful to them @WanasahCA @Namarig_A

What’s wrong with this photo? A friend sent this to me, she was speechless. In a homeschoolers online group- a mother sent this picture to show how she teaches her little one at home, so she doesn’t feel alone.

My son said today, “Single moms should have their own door to enter Jannah (paradise).” And my heart sighed with a million single moms hearts in that exact moment.

This is heartbreaking.
They’ve burned all the books in Mohamed Omer Bashir center in Omdurman Al-Alhlia University. This center was full of books , researches, scholars efforts over the years. All gone by a bullet. Cause a bullet worth more than a book for the thugs #SudanConflict #keepEyesOnSudan

The situation in Sudan is gut wrenching. As outsiders, we can help by supporting local hospitals & initiatives - I’ll add a few donation sites below. Any amount helps! ▪️ https://t.co/pssrfm6ZKA ▪️ https://t.co/WGQGeCH3dF ▪️ https://t.co/2Uo4X3hK7c

A huge thank you everyone who has donated to the Sudan Hospital Fund so far. Your kindness has been s… Sara El Dabi needs your support for Sudan Hospital Fund
Speaking to family in #Sudan, my aunt said “we can’t leave, we will bravely await death.” A month ago, they woke up to a full blown war & I woke up to losing my home & roots. Hospitals, airports, retailers, homes, etc…all blown up. The survival’s guilt is real 😞

@YousraElbagir I am not Sudanese but 🇸🇩 was my chosen home. I’m an immigrant & have lived across 3 continents and never felt at home in any of these places. I did in 🇸🇩 It was were I wanted to raise my girls. Feels like I lost everything but feel guilty coz I have options and so many don’t 💔

A month ago today, the Sudanese community woke up to the horrors of war in the capital. 750,000 people have been displaced, hundreds killed and thousands injured in this period of brutal violence between the SAF & RSF. How has it impacted you?

Everything happening in Sudan is beyond heart-shattering, people that take the time to see their Sudanese friends, colleagues, neighbours… means a lot right now. A youth from the community left this for me at the office. The loudest “how are you doing?” I received yet.

Structural racism in health care is deeply embedded in policy, unspoken beliefs, and teaching practices replicated through health systems and training programs. One intervention we are using to advance our goals is employing Public Health Critical Race Praxis (PHCRP).

.@YousraElbagir is the first foreign journalist to enter the capital Khartoum, to give a glimpse of the horrors facing those trapped there.
Hundreds of thousands have fled Sudan's capital, Khartoum, but millions remain trapped in a prison of urban warfare. Conflict between the Sudanese Army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces has led to civilians fleeing to Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other nearby countries

No evidence of a ceasefire in Sudan's capital as millions remain trapped in a prison of urban warfare. Those who have stayed behind - for lack of funds or mobility - are counting on the army to win this war. Our harrowing report from Omdurman, Khartoum: https://t.co/kX4TW6ulek

I don’t think people understand what it means to have an identity that isn’t fully one dominant thing as a country. I hope the silence is lifted soon. may God allow the Sudanese people to be shown the kindness and generosity they have often shown to others.

PSA To the people with Sudani passports that have come to Egypt: 🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴 Keep in my mind that after arriving you have to go to Jawazat Al 3aziziya to get your passports stamped and get a 6 months iqama. This way you can get money sent to you from abroad and ..
