This blatant discrimination is why we work so hard to support refugees and immigrants, giving them the tools to build a meaningful life in Canada and to continue working in the industries they love.

A recent CBC-commissioned survey has reported that Canada has the highest educated but least productive workforce in the G7. Why? Because highly skilled and certified newcomers are discouraged and prevented from practicing their trade.
