She/her. Liberal. Feminist. Bookworm. Gen-X. Let's talk about books and the theme to One Day at a Time. Or something.

@ErinReadsStuff @pattonoswalt Hi, random stranger here. If you haven't, check out books by @SGJ72, such as The Only Good Indians or My Heart is a Chainsaw. If you like gothic horror, consider Mexican Gothic by @silviamg or The Hacienda by @isabelcanas_ 1/?

It should have been Joss Whedon. I said what I said. Rip Michelle Trachtenberg

Y’all can find everything about Luigi Mangione, but claim you couldn’t find Kamala Harris’s policies.

Imagine if we could see Luigi Mangione's likes. Never forget what Elon took from us.

Why would I abbreviate Wizard of Oz like that?!? Anyhow, L. Frank Baum books, disturbing. 1939 movie, disturbing. The Wiz, disturbing. The damned talking Viewmaster slides, disturbing. Return to Oz, disturbing. All iterations of Wicked, disturbing. We're all needto be disturbed.

I am aware that my mother allowing me to read whatever I wanted with no questions isn't ideal, but considering what all I read, comments like this crack me up. It'll be okay. Every iteration of WoZ is disturbing, BTW.
@MalcolmMiddleX @solonglunden Yes, but parents are buying this for kids who show interest in the movie. Not good

Chuck Woolery, if he could, would blame his demise on the libs.🙄

We need to resist the encroachment of technology into every corner of our lives. Learn to write well. Teach your kids instead of letting a chatbot teach them. It's so important that you employ your thinking and communicating muscles instead of letting them atrophy.

A friend told me she switches on the lights only 5 minutes after entering her home, because she doesn't want people to know which apartment she stays in. I couldn't empathise then. And as I read the pages of Kim Jiyoung, Born 1982, I realise what she truly meant.

@shaindelr @Stephen_Ronson But it also hasn't been the experience of the vast majority of the people who are leaving.

Sexiest Man Alive has run it's course. It's not a title you can announce and then then people talk about it around the water cooler, but a topic people will state their feelings about to a diverse audience.

Why? Do we suspect there's a connection between the two?
@slayerfestx98 I know this is not the point of what you just said but would glory and Ben get to cast two separate votes🤔

The mayor considered himself a married man even though Edna May was long gone. No way would he be on the Trump train.
As a middle aged gay man who adores Buffy, lemme tell you just how fucking stupid you have to be to think any Buffy character but Warren or Caleb would’ve voted for that man. The Mayor and Glory wouldn’t have even tolerated his bullshit.

Rowling saying she's anti-authoritarian while passing judgement on the configuration on everyone's everyone's genitals, and wanting to pass laws to match her obsession, is wildly lacking in basic self knowledge.

I think I'm most concerned with the "I Just Read for Fun Girls" not realizing that every time they hold up fairy smut they're doing something unfathomable to women just a few generations back. You get to express being sexual, even kinky, and you don't understand the privilege?

If people had heeded the warning, you might have been. I find myself wondering if dystopian fiction changes anything. We talk about the clairvoyance of authors like you and Octavia Butler, and Suzanne Collins, instead of making you all look delusional. Car crashes in slow-mo.

I would rather have been wrong.
Am I the only one who now sort of wishes not having read The Handmaid's Tale? I love your work, @MargaretAtwood, but I seriously worry that you might be a visionary.
