This is our lowest voting share on @YouGov since the end of the Liz Truss government. Indeed only one YouGov poll has shown a lower Conservative share since the 2019 election.

Bank profits soaring You ever get the feeling they win in all conditions?
HSBC’s made a post-tax profit of $6.26bn in 3 ms ended September, jumping 235% compared to the $2.66 billion in the same period last year (a miss). PBT for the Q rose by $4.5bn to $7.7bn, mainly due to a higher interest rate environment and to a $2.3bn impairment in 3rd of 2022.

The message is clear: Starmer has to decide, in or out
"There is no room for any kind of renegotiating" @MichelBarnier tells @Peston that @KeirStarmer has no room to renegotiate a Brexit deal, even when it is up for review in 2025. #Peston

This is so piss poor. It's not so much wrong as a complete inversion of the truth. Sunak cancelled a major infrastructure project. Starmer announced a massive house building programme.
Keir Starmer's hour-long #Lab23 speech was more of the same old short-term approach that has dominated politics for the last 30 years. Only @RishiSunak and the Conservatives offer the long-term leadership that the country needs for a brighter future.

The Tories’ shambolic plans did not take long to unravel. “Network North” can be broken down into three categories: 1. Projects that have already been built 2. Projects that have already been announced 3. Projects that do not exist Me for @theipaper

Labour are very far from perfect, and when they get into power they will need to be properly scrutinised and held to account. But Rishi Sunak’s Tory government is both incompetent and increasingly far right and is doing serious damage to Britain.
