This moment will forever be ingrained in my mind. Seeing your spacecraft spread its wings for the first time is hard to put into words. When Starship separated and began flying on its own, I knew we had changed the course of history.

I am shaking. This is what it is all about. We will learn and then try again. We got through Max Q, Hot staging, and Second stage ignition and burn. What a day!

posted in 2013 I knew where I wanted to be. I am beyond excited to announce that I have joined that team! I will be helping lift humanity into the stars!

I clock into work everyday with one goal, Bring us one step closer to becoming multiplanetary. We will return to the stars from which we came. I love what I do!

2022 was a record year for us. 2023 has been no different. When you are passionate about what you do and motivated to accomplish the mission of making the human species multiplanetary, it’s easy to push beyond what most think is possible. We will not become complacent and we will
SpaceX has completed 70 Falcon launches so far this year, 20 of which have been supported by our team at Vandenberg
If you’re interested in being a part of the mission to make space more accessible and ultimately life multiplanetary, learn more about what’s possible →
This is nothing to take for granted. This is years of hard work and dedication. Many said it was impossible to start a rocket company, get to orbit, land a rocket, reuse a rocket, do it again, and now build a fully reusable architecture that will get us to Mars. Watch us 😎
Embarking on the journey of a lifetime, starship takes its second flight, defying gravity and reaching for the stars. Today marks the culmination of years of innovation, dedication, and sheer human spirit. As it soared towards the heavens, it reminds us that even the sky is not
It’s been years working towards this moment. I can tell you this is only the beginning. The beginning of a new era in spaceflight. We will stop at nothing to achieve our goal of making humanity multiplanetary!

Is this really happening? 🤯 the reason I started applying to
@NASASocial
in the first place was to one day attend a

one! Also anytime you get an email that’s starts “Hello from NASA”, you know you are going to have a good day!

Did you know, On April, 1970, the
@northropgrumman
(manufacturers of the Lunar Module) sent a $312,421.24 bill to North American Rockwell (who made the service module that malfunctioned in the Apollo 13 mission) for towing services.

I believe it refers to that actual ring that’s used to hold the engine upright when being transported. I believe the are removed before flight.
This is why we all do what we do at SpaceX. I was just standing next to this beautiful spacecraft in the hanger 2 days ago.

This is another huge step in making humans a multiplanetary species!
The upcoming

will be used. Will also be the 50th booster landing!
1/48 scale flying Falcon 9 booster model is coming along! This this is going to be awesome! Using a

TVC kit + Landing Legs, it will fly like the real thing. Can’t wait to launch later this month!

59 years ago today Yuri Gagarin became the first human to break the bonds of the earths gravity and enter a stable orbit. He orbited the earth just 1 time, but in doing so, opened the door to the stars and left it open for humanity to step through.

Here's a time-lapse I made of China's Chang'e 4 moon lander doing a soft landing on the surface. This is sped about about 7x real time. I love how you can see it hover above the surface to make sure it was in a good spot to land!
Finally got the motors in for the Scale Falcon 9 TVC build. This week will be all about tuning the flight computer and setup of ground support structure. Hoping for a static fire test this weekend :)

Can’t describe how it feels... taking a break from the work that goes into making humans multiplanetary to step outside and watch a booster go up to 400,000 ft, 3700 mph turnaround and land back at LZ1 plus being hit by the sonic booms is just... 📸spacex
