A110 is a 111.2 ± 4.45 N, over 50% 3D printed bipropellant in-space thruster. It increases lander payload by 20-40kg compared to legacy thrusters used for spacecraft attitude control and ΔV maneuvers. Read more about A110 here:
Excited to announce that I have left my role as Senior Boyfriend (Level 4) and started a new role as Executive Fiancé (Level 1)! I couldn’t ask for a better life partner ❤️ Excited for this new chapter!

I’m so happy I can finally announce that I’ve accepted a summer position at home! At home, I’ll be doing revolutionary work with PBJC (peanut-butter-jelly composite) sandwich structures and innovating a new generation of clean (bed)room standards.
Interesting powerpoint from a couple years ago of setting off methane/oxygen detonations to better characterize what a bad day on a methane rocket would look like. I guess SpaceX has somewhat preempted the research at this point though.
Yesterday we got the first leaked look at the upcoming LEGO Icons Artemis Space Launch System!
The model is designed at 1:160 scale, compared to the 1:110 scale of the Saturn V set. You can also see how big it would be at the same scale thanks to

at what point does a meatball become a meatloaf like if it’s a size thing then technically I could make a 3lb meatball as long as it’s spherical it’s a meatball but if squared it, it would be meatloaf but say you had 1 oz and made it square would that be meatloaf or meatball?
nothing like pursuing an engineering degree to make you feel like dropping out and living as a nomad in the mountains or living off the grid in Alberta with a cozy shack and a little farm, ya feel?
for the first time in 365 days, a part that I designed completely myself got finished and I’m holding it

MooooOOOOOOOmmmmm they’re lightweighting GSE!!! Can I have orthogrid everywhere? No, we have orthogrid at home. The orthogrid at home: mig welded unitstrut with blue spraypaint
might be the most niche thing I’ve ever tweeted I don’t expect this to make sense
Ask rocket engineers to name their children and it's decided immediately. Ask rocket engineers to name their vehicle and 3 people are crying and the cleanroom is on fire.

yes, obviously we use it to validate our flight data. It’s industry standard software. I’m fairly confident they used an alpha build of KSP to plan Apollo
Lockbit ransomware group has ransomed a 3rd party parts manufacturer for SpaceX - they claim to possess over 3,000 proprietary schematics for SpaceX.
In the ransom announcement Lockbit issued a message to El*n M*sk and SpaceX employees, taunting them.

Our manufacturing processes allow us to pick our metal alloys based on properties, not manufacturability.
This gives our thrusters lower heat signatures making spacecraft harder to detect through thermal imaging, perfect for missions requiring stealth.
