The prohibition by the judge is entirely appropriate for a jury trial. But judges are legally presumed to be above that. The only reason to disallow Trump from making a close himself is because the good judge does not like Trump.

I've been following this closely and it seems factual to me. Lenders do NOT rely on the borrower's opinion of value (and value is an opinion; not a fact). Lenders hire independent appraisers to give them an opinion on value. How can fraud exist where there was no reliance?
