Dan Wilson has a baseball IQ of 7. Mariners once again relying on ✨analytics✨instead of what is happening on the field.

The property crime rate in 2024 was actually the lowest it’s been in Seattle in over 15 years.

If I were in a leadership position in the Seattle Police Department I would be celebrating a nearly 10% reduction in the violent crime rate and a 14% reduction in the property crime rate since the peak of the post-pandemic crime wave in 2022. It’s seriously a huge win.

Lmfao imagine begging for federal intervention because your beliefs aren’t popular among your neighbors. As the republicans like to tell us nationally “love it or leave.”
Washington State Please share with family, friends, and neighbors by text or email. My commentary: Our 1st HOPE is to pray for FEDERAL INTERVENTION for the Trump administration to send in the feds because the present situation is completely OUT OF CONTROL, and it's only

If you want to build a social democracy like Denmark, you can't be an anarchist. That kind of society *requires* high levels of social trust, which you can only get if people think the rules apply to everyone and if there are strong norms against rule breaking. Pay the fare!

Why not just build a mixed used neighborhood around the stadiums 🤔
Updated plans for an Xfinity Live! renovation/addition are heading to the Art Commission. This would add a stage, a lawn, multiple bars, and a VIP section to the current spot. Past plans never happened, so fingers crossed. How are you liking the update? Full scoop at the 'stack

Look, I’m not against consolidation — it would make sense to consolidate a lot of urban King County — but at the moment Bellevue is not (and most likely will not ever be) Seattle.

Nobody is saying that Seattle should be Manhattan. What we’re saying is that we should also build an additional 100,000 units of housing because we’ve been one of the fastest growing cities in North America for the last 2 decades and that’s not slowing anytime soon.
@harlander_harpy @rjtripp1 @MinusPeach The fact is, there are many reasons why Seattle cannot be a Manhattan. You've listed some, I've listed some, it's just a dumb comment by the OP. One of many.

We should do this in belltown.
Manhattan used to be full of working-class families, and too many have had to move out as housing prices went up. We're going to build 100,000 new homes in the next decade to reach a total of 1 MILLION homes in Manhattan. Our vision is called “The Manhattan Plan.”

The social media outrage over congestion pricing isn’t really about congestion pricing. It’s a fight over who pays for public goods—and suburban drivers want the subsidies to keep flowing without paying their share.
