Beautiful work! Highlighting how small changes in #RNA structure and modifications naturally occur to modulate development without altering the protein sequence.

Great work! A lot of interesting findings and brilliant systems to study the molecular control of meiotic crossover. 👇.
‼️Can we tune crossover hotspot activity by targeting chromatin modifiers? Absolutely!💥.Our screen shows dCas9-JMJ14 represses crossovers at targeted sites, while VP64 boosts them!.🧬 Check our new preprint:. #meiosis4ever #CRISPR #Arabidopsis.

Another great work from the Fiszbein lab!.It reminds me of my PhD work showing alternatively spliced #lncRNA PUPPIES invading and activating the downstream gene to help plants 🌱 cope with stress. I wonder whether the proposed mechanism could be as conserved as U1 itself.
Very excited to share our new paper out now in @MolecularCell. We show how U1 snRNP -a well-known splicing factor- regulates the activity of alternative promoters in human cells

What a fabulous work! A polyA "tailored" mechanism to enhance #mRNA vaccine efficiency via cytoplasmic re-adenylation. Huge impact on #RNAtherapeutics. A demonstration of the scientific excellence of Polish research institutions.
🌐Our @Nature paper is out! Researchers from IIMCB and other Polish institutions show how TENT5A boosts mRNA vaccine efficacy by stabilizing therapeutic mRNAs and enhancing antigen production. A step toward better therapies for cancer and beyond! . 🔗
