On what level do you think that this is appropriate or newsworthy?
I imagine that Rebecca’s priority is finding Nicola & supporting her family & friends - not listening to what the most of unpleasant & irrelevant comments like this.
I am incredibly proud of all of the staff at Merseyside Police who have worked tirelessly over the past six weeks to get to this significant point the investigation. The thoughts of Merseyside Police are with the family of Olivia Pratt-Korbel this evening.

Officers faced incredibly challenging scenes tonight whilst carrying out their duties tonight. The scenes were completely unacceptable putting our communities and my staff in danger.

Absolutely appalled by a further homophobic hate crime in our city this weekend. I am grateful to those partners who have reached out to me to offer support on how we can work together to keep our streets safe. Hate crime has no place on our streets & we will not tolerate it.

Who is supplied the gun?
Who shot Olivia?
Where is the gun now?

My thoughts are with Olivia’s family - I simply can’t even begin to imagine the pain that they feel everyday knowing that Olivia was taken from them by Thomas Cashman in the most despicable & cowardly circumstances.
GUILTY | Thomas Cashman has today, Thursday 30th March, been found guilty of the murder of Olivia Pratt-Korbel in

last year. He was also convicted of attempted murder, the wounding of Olivia's mum Cheryl and two firearms offences.

Been to visit the scene again & the mobile station. Emotional to read the 100’s of tributes that have been left, since my last visit, by devastated family & friends of Elle. Spoke to members of the community who have all been impacted by the tragic events of Christmas Eve.
Last time I was at Edge Hill it was about 30 years ago trudging around the field having to do school cross country - today I was really pleased to be back to get my first Covid vaccine. Last one in the family as they have key worker status. 🦠💉👍
#letsgetvaccinated
Appalling that two of our PCSO’s who were out and about being visible in their local community had been subjected to this horrendous attack. Two dedicated staff who absolutely should not be attacked in this way. A fast response their colleagues led to a swift arrest.

Tough news for police officers to hear today. I witnessed such commitment and dedication to our communities by all of the staff working for Merseyside Police throughout the pandemic. Agree - we need funded increases from 2022 that properly recognise their contribution.
The pay freeze for police officers is a hard pill to swallow when they have given so much in the pandemic.
We are calling on ministers to ensure fair, funded pay increases from 2022 that properly recognise their contribution to society.
Well that’s a wrap! 3rd time luckily & we finally got to run with WMPMND to raise money for
@mndassoc
