🛑Ninja swords : Act now before 1st August!. 🗓️ Until 31 July, you can safely and anonymously surrender ninja swords and other bladed weapons at you local police station or designated surrender bin. A huge thank you to those who have already handed in these potentially dangerous.
SAFER STREETS | Thanks to the public for supporting the Ninja Sword Surrender. 74 weapons have been handed in so far - including 9 ninja swords, 15 knives and more. The surrender is live until the ban starts on 1 Aug. Let’s keep Merseyside safe. ➡️

The publication of this report is a sobering reminder of the importance of domestic homicide reviews. At the heart of each one is someone whose life has been cut tragically short due to domestic abuse. It is vital the findings from these reviews are translated into meaningful.
When someone loses their life to domestic abuse, it is an appalling failure of our society, the state and the systems designed to keep us safe. With a robust monitoring system for domestic homicide reviews we can prevent future deaths and tackle abuse.
