In the early hours of Saturday morning officers were “In the right place at the right time”. A delivery courier was assaulted and had his push bike stolen from him. Within 5 mins of the robbery the offender was in handcuffs and the bike had been recovered.

On Friday, Special Constable Mallard joined Special Sergeant Hughes for his first ever shift. The pair sighted a suspected wanted male who made off. The male was later detained and Constable Mallard made his very first arrest, with the male wanted on a recall to prison.

ARREST: Last night NTE Specials detained a male following a foot pursuit after a suspected drugs transaction. The male was subsequently arrested for possession of class A & B drugs with intent to supply, possession of a bladed article and conspiracy to cultivate cannabis.

Last month our officers volunteered over 7000 hours to policing within Merseyside. The average hours per officer was 33 and over 1000 duties were performed. Quite a few officers resigned to join as full time officers but a whole intake were sworn in and 21 started training.
