@JSG_54 @dr4liberty Agreed. Xylazine is cheap, however, & as long as the scumbag drug pushers are using it in the product that they sell, it will be ubiquitous. I'm starting to think that our government needs to put the amoral pushers out of business by selling street drugs that are tested & cheap.

@headdock @JSG_54 @headdock, your idea is not unique. It is the harm reduction strategy called "safe supply." And is used in Canada and other developed countries that have more realistic, compassionate, and enlightened drug policies than the U.S.

We just gave our first XR-Buprenorphine injection today. So grateful for everybody who worked to get it arranged and to our first patient. Having every tool available for people with #OpioidUseDisorder is essential. @NewBridgeMedCtr @DebVisconi @dr_gianv

On this Christmas Season, prayers for the families of the thousands of souls who’ve died of fentanyl overdose. Given the number of dead, it should have long been our central concern. Those who are manipulating the focus to Rx meds for their person gain are unspeakably evil. 🙏

To all Twitter friends of Dr Debbie: Very sad that she died suddenly Tues afternoon. Due to DEA issues she had been forced to taper off pain meds. Tues suffered a severe all-body pain attack causing heart to stop. Couldn't be stabilized. Pain kills. She cared for you all.

He still won’t credit the opiates. And says he would not have ever started her (maybe after the colectomy he would). The biologicals remain his religion I guess. Or the opiates are his antichrist

My Crohns pt bled 3 times as she failed different biologicals (13 units transfused 3rd time). GI told her she’ll likely end up with colostomy. Started opiates 5 years ago for pain/fibromyalgia and bleeding did not recur. She showed scientific articles like this to her GI. He
