Spare a thought for the small business owners who had to beg and borrow to pay a $145,000 tax on that $100K shipment of product that happened to arrive while the most extreme China tariff was in place, only to see their president back down with zero Chinese concessions. 1/

"There are no Amish with autism" There are "Vaccines aren't tested against placebo" They are "MMR has never been studied as a possible cause of autism" It has. It's not the cause. I apparently need to say this stuff over and over and over and over again. And again.

Man claiming to be āChristianā hates his neighbors who bike because they theoretically & oh so mildly inconvenience him. Heretics like that take the fast lane to hell
@MattyCiii @Boenau @ArmanWed Fringe. Bike lanes are used for about 0.01% of commutes. Supporting bike lanes is the fringe position. They should all be eliminated.

This is the way. "If approved, New York would join Virginia, Georgia and Washington, D.C., in enacting new state laws requiring convicted speeders be forced to install ISA devices to curb their ability to accelerate beyond legal limits." https://t.co/0tLF04sYXa

For those of you whoāve had your share of speeding tickets, just imagine putting your pedal to the metal only to have your carās accelerator top out at -- or below! -- the speed limit.

The findings of this study are sure to offend: "...there is little a rider can do, by altering their outfit or donning a high-visibility jacket, to prevent the most dangerous overtakes from happening. Instead... it is our roads, or driver behavior, that need to change."

āI mean ⦠a person is never 100% on the ball 100% of the time.ā Often resulting in their death. 80% of people killed by drivers are motorists. Almost 2/3 of people killed by drivers are just themself (āsingle vehicle, single occupantā crashes.)
@drewsnx @PassPixi @theJeremyVine @MikeyCycling I mean, 1 and 3 donāt really understand that a person is never 100% on the ball 100% of the time. With only cars, the general formula is that everyone follows a schema and you can expect that (mostly). Cyclists almost actively go against that which causes issues. (1/2)

Let's discuss the *actual* charges against Judge Hannah Dugan using the Complaint against her. tl;dr - she sent the man in question into the public hallway where agents there to arrest him watched him walk by and did nothing. 1/ https://t.co/RKL166vIH0

@JohnLeFevre It feels like weāre talking past each other. Iām trying to have a conversation about causal inference; you seem to be talking about woke mind viruses or whatever. Iāll post this and then head to sleep. The easiest way to think about causal inference is through a simple analogy:
