A little bit of good news in these bleak times. Judge John Hyland has rejected all of the motions by Troupis, Chesebro and Roman to dismiss the 11 felony charges brought against them by @WisDOJ. Hopefully, they'll be held to account for their roles in the WI fake elector scheme.
Jim Troupis, Ken Chesebro and Mike Roman were all expected to make initial court appearances for their WI fake electors case on Dec. 12 but now there's likely to be a delay as Troupis' attorney filed a flurry of motions this week to dismiss the forgery charges against his client.

This is a great discussion about how absurd it is to claim that hand-counting ballots would result in accurate results on election night. It wouldn’t. It couldn’t. Tabulators are tested before elections and audited after and they do a bang-up job of counting ballots!
Since Trump put out his ridiculous statement and toothless Executive order on mail voting and machines, I’ve heard intelligent, good people say something along the lines of “mail in voting is good but I agree with getting rid of machines” which is an incredibly bad take. 🧵

So honored to have this smart, sensible, & amusing human in charge of the Elections Commission in my state of WI. A great 🧵 here. I have worked on a couple of small recounts—just an election or 2 to recount each time. AND IT WAS TORTUROUS. No thank you to hand counting ballots.

Let's see this for what it really is: An attempt to change voting going into the midterms because he's afraid the Republicans will lose so the only way to win is to try to change the rules and limit voting. And that is something we should all be concerned about. 12/12
