If you’re a fan of The Leftovers and Udo Kier, I can’t think of a better show to start watching than Kingdom. An incredible run of surrealist comedic television. Some of Von Trier’s best work as a filmmaker is on this show.
He did, by the way. And he was fantastic once again. It felt like he was almost everywhere and forever with that ubiquitous range of credits, and maybe that he would somehow always be with us. RIP.

Spy Game is one of Robert Redford’s most under-appreciated films. A vintage early ‘00s Tony Scott spy thriller, Redford goes toe-to-toe with a young Brad Pitt in the best way possible. Redford’s acting chops were always overlooked. He’s great in this film. So upset he’s gone.
