@GhostofGoose2 Out grifting? She has childcare responsibilities, for one, and secondly, for some people-work is what keeps them going. Nobody has a right to dictate to anyone else how soon one should return to "normal life" after someone passes. Death & grief are different for everyone. .

@Duffycaramole @LaurenNotLozza I don't agree Lorna-in the 60's, smoking was considered "sexy" and socially acceptable. Many women smoked throughout their pregnancies, including my mother (an educated woman) as well as her educated friends. It was what they did in the 60's.

My attitude was different when it was *my* cancer; I made cancer my friend, embraced it & fought the hell out of it. But today's news of the death of #SeanLock (who I loved & whose humour made me 😂 throughout my own cancer journey), combined w/losing my own friend (aged 54).

My celebrations have begun! I’m 2 hrs ahead & have been waiting over 6 months to open this 🍾 to celebrate being #cancerfree. It was worth the wait! (Pay no attention to the laundry hanging in the background).🤦♀️😂#happynewyear2020 ❤️🍾❤️🍾

A couple of #menopause facts before I carry on with my day:. 1) Not all menopausal women go missing or take their own lives. 2) Not all menopausal women suffer with depression, mood swings, etc. Please keep these facts in mind! They matter to 50% of the population. 🙏.

#BreastBiopsy Today marks 6 years since I had my biopsy to verify that what they saw on the mammogram was indeed cancer, & it was. We never forget these anniversary dates. 👇#ResultsDay. "There are around 56,000 new cases of breast cancer in women every year: that’s over 150.

@chantz_y My response is always “because I don’t want to get sick”. The introduction of 😷 in 2020 made me realise that there *is* something I can do to ⬇️ my chances of catching a cold, flu, Covid, etc. As a self employed person-I need to think this way. I realise that those who are….

It is so f’ing hot-I’ve been using my bottle of water on my pulse points. This is not civilised weather whatsoever, unless you’re at the beach, where I am obviously not. It’s Sunday & the beaches will be heaving. I dislike crowds & noise. 😂😩🥵🫢😠

Any👨or👩 who has had cancer knows that even after you get the "all clear"-every time your annual scan/MRI comes up, you can't help but feel that little bit anxious. Today was my annual MRI/mammogram appt & thank goodness it was good news. I'm still 👍🙏#BreastCancerRecovery

Guess who's proud of herself? 🤔 My first run since my surgery 8 wks ago & my goal was to run for 30 mins. or 2 miles. I ran for 22 mins. & did 2.45 miles (including walking in between). It felt good especially given it was mildly windy. I really need to do this > often. 🙄
