MAID is not a choice anyone wants to make, but a life of pain can be worse than death. It is a true privilege not to have to seriously consider MAID.

@ThanksCancer 👉 Hair loss can be rocked out with cool head coverings if you don’t want to wear a wig - amazon has lots. 👉Eat whenever you want - 4 AM seems to be my time 👉Be Your own advocate - it’s ok to question the doctor and discuss what you want 👉Pain meds are ok to take when you need

@ThanksCancer Not everyone loses weight on the chemo diet It’s okay to have a shitty day or even a really shitty day There are other options to treat chemo side effects than meds that create more side effects or don't work

@ThanksCancer It’s tragic but never saw it as a zero sum game. I don’t feel guilt, I feel gratitude.
