Update from Ukraine well worth reading.
Bottom line: Despite the challenges, Ukrainian forces continue to hold Russian forces to incremental gains, extracting a steep price for territorial gains. Drone units are a key part of the solution, but by themselves may not be sufficient to stabilize the front. 34/.

The international press pack has largely coalesced around the idea that 'the story' now is whether international outrage will cause Trump to rein in Israel. Many Arab countries though have remembered that Hamas also has agency in ending this.
UNPRECEDENTED: Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt have signed onto a statement calling for Hamas to disarm and end its rule of Gaza. “In the context of ending the war in Gaza, Hamas must end its rule in Gaza and hand over its weapons."

I think this poses some interesting questions - mainly about whether ‘sucking up to Trump’ is the best option.
The "deal" with US isn't economically all too bad. But it's a little embarrassing for the EU that the UK alone got a better "deal" than EU27. .
